Greetings Brethren. 2025 is my first year as Master of Royal Center 585. I went through the chairs at Libanus Lodge in Monticello before transferring up to Royal Center where my dad is a member. My thoughts for this year are: 1) Get our fundraisers planned out. 2) Get our membership dues caught up and turned in. 3) Plan some activities to get more brothers to the Lodge. That being said our first fundraiser is the 12 Mile breakfast. This fundraiser is funded by your donations to the lodge to get the supplies needed. I will send out future emails with what is needed and the date. Dues are past due, please take a moment to contact the Lodge Secretary to see if a brother close to you is in need of our help. And if so we will endeavor to help them out this year. Sometimes they just need good counsel whisperd in an ear to remind them to get it paid. Please feel free to contact myself or Matt Kitchell if help is needed. Also feel free to contact a brother to see if he needs a ride to lodge, sometimes the day we have our meeting slips by in our memories and a gentle reminder that we have lodge is needed. As always feel free to let us know of any ideas you have for getting together. We can plan dinners with our families at the lodge, if we can get them organized, they will bear fruit because if no one sees us doing anything at the lodge then they don't know that we exist. By having gatherings at the lodge it gets us noticed and we will be a beacon of light in the darkness. Our meetings are on the first Thursday each month. We eat dinner at 6:30 and the meeting starts at 7:30. As always remember those that are sick and in the nursing homes, always try to visit them to let them know we miss them and still want the bond of Brotherly Love and the friendship with them to continue.
